World Children's Book Day

Children grow up so fast in our busy daily lives. And if you miss even one moment of their growing , it can be bad even irreversible consequences. An important part of children’ development is reading books. I learnt to read when I was five years old and it changed my life forever. Here I will share thoughts about books and characters which changed my life. I would like also to recommend some books to families with children. These books will help in children’ development. Of course I talk about fictions. The first book that impressed me was the “Three Musketeers” from Dumas. D'Artagnan build a large part of my character, made me gentleman who respects women and fight for truth. Of course I speak metaphorically about fight.

Another character who I adore is from "Mysterious Island" the sequel of the "20 000 Leagues under the water" and "Children of Captain Grant". Can you guess who? Captain Nemo of course . I realized that there are goodness in all people. I learned not to judge in advance.

Remain two more characters. They are from the novel "Winnetou". If you have read this book than you should already knew Winnetou and Old Shetarhend. They are ideal for my real hero. I almost forgot one book, I read it again and again - several times. In fact they are two: “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and “Huck Finn Adventures”. These characters are examples for American’s heros. Of course, there are many more great books. They formed my character. Now I’m positive person and fight for my dreams and for my family’s good quality life. When I grew, I began to write stories. This stories change other life’s for good. Many peoples tell me that. I continue to read. New great books are already available in the stores. Some of them can change the life of your child. But keep in mind that books can teach us to perceive the lifea but they can tell us how to live it.

It is very important your child to choose the book alone. He/she should not be forced to choose or to read it. The book will have a magic effect only if it is desirable.I know that from my own experience.

Of course everybody knows Harry Potter, right? J.K. Rowling uses that character in movies, pc games and many more. The story is similar to the Cinderella story but it is for a boy. However, the details are important. Harry touches children dreams and games with Magic, action, friends . The character is so real like it really exist. I knew what the end would be but I loved to readed it. Joanne Roulnig follows the life of Harry from child to a man and even as a husband - his all metamorphoses. The authoress borrowed ideas from many novels and internet. But the unique insight into the maturation of a child with a tough life make her book valuable. And all of us remember difficulties when we where child, right?

Another book is "Chronicle of Narnia” of C.S. Lewis. This idea is totally different . Characters have to save another world, hidden behind a wardrobe. They forget for difference, become a true family for the good of a different world. Accent here is not on individuals like Harry Potter “the Chosen one”. It’s about one group of strong family and friends.

One book I must mention. Vampire Romeo and human Juliet. “Twilight” of Stephenie Meyer. For this book is written much and it is mostly for teenagers. Of course if your child started to read early this is not a problem. This saga tell us a story about very complicated love. Teen boy vampire and human teen girl . The message is simple “Love always wins”. There are not many bloody scenes and horror is missing. The style is understandable for kids like fairy-tales but modern one.

For now I will finish with some following words. 2 April is coming. This is World Children's Book Day. Let your children pick his favorite books. Don’t refuse them. Because books are important for the formation of their character.
